Chocolate & Sex

April 10th 2020

Hey there Caddyshackers,

We are coming up to a busy period of celebrations for some. Here at Caddyshack, we are super excited that there is an abundance of chocolate in the shops right now. And don’t even start on the hot fruit buns! Hot, crunchy deliciousness, oozing with melted butter.

We are not ashamed to admit that at Caddyshack we all have a sweet tooth and chocolate never lasts long on the desks under our watch! Jen reckons we just need the magnesium in the chocolate because the barometric pressure is dropping (or something). She’s good at justifying our sweet tooths.

So what is it about chocolate that makes it so hard for us to say no to?

Aphrodisiac

It is well known that chocolate is an aphrodisiac.

Definition: a food, drink, or other thing that stimulates sexual desire. It is thought that some foods increase libido, whilst others decrease libido.

See if you can name all the aphrodisiacs in this picture.

Anaphrodisiac

Conversely foods that kill your sex drive are called anaphrodisiacs. Let’s just say the jury is still out on chocolate due to its high sugar and fat content. Boo.

Flavoured Condoms

When getting in the mood and getting carried away with ourselves, we can sometimes forget to use condoms and contraception.

Maybe we need more banana flavoured condoms in circulation to both;

  1. Get you in the mood

  2. Keep you protected from sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies!

Speaking of flavoured condoms, what’s your favourite condom flavour?
