Melissa's career has been devoted to the health and health care of adolescents and young adults. She is an academic, a clinician, and an advocate. Melissa's research has taken a population health approach, with major projects exploring access to health care, health system navigation, young people’s sexuality and sexual health (particularly sexually transmitted infections).
