Welcome 2021

January 2021

Hey there Caddyshackers

Welcome to 2021. We are mostly back in the office and ready to crank out another big year.

We hope all our tribe are well rested and ready to journey with us throughout 2021.

What’s ahead for us?

We wish we had a magic crystal ball to tell us exactly what the year holds, but in our true style, we are open to things changing, being flexible and moving with the times.

We have so much planned

More online training, smaller group education sessions, lots of resource distribution (think over 40,000 condoms!) and lots of social media presence.

What’s ahead for you?

We had a heap of followers come on board at the end of last year, joining our regular Caddyshack groupies, tuning in to find out about all things sexual health!

For all of our new Caddyshackers, and to refresh our longer term fans, we thought we would use this blog as a chance to (re)introduce ourselves and share a few fun facts and titbits about the team.

Hi, we are Caddyshack, nice to meet you

We are a team of 4 health promotion officers, covering the Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas on the beautiful South Coast of NSW.

You can check out parts of our coastline, with the images on our FREE postcard resources.

At the helm, leading us we have Jen Farinella and ensuring the ship continues to sail are Naomi Viret, Maddison Stratten and Kaitlyn Middleton.

Collectively we have over 30 years of sexual health promotion experience.

What do we care about?

  • As a team, we care about diversity and inclusion.

  • We are advocates for First Nations people, cultural diversity, sexual diversity and encourage sex and body positivity

  • You can read more about this on our FABULOUS new webpage Caddyshack Project.

Our first webinar for the year is “How to drive the Caddyshack Project website” on Feb 23rd;

  • In this 45 minute webinar we will unpack features of the Caddyshack Project website to make it more useful for you.

  • Find out more about the Condom Dispenser Project, visit each recommended link and find out why we selected them.

  • Have a look at the Blog topics and tell us subject areas that you would like to know more about.

  • Explore our free resources in more depth.

We chatted amongst ourselves about our fav spots in the area, including our fav food and coffee places.
